BackWhitefield Development Trust
Whitefield Development Trust (WDT) are a charity whose aim is to support the two schools within Flourish Learning Trust, Whitefield School and Joseph Clarke School. Recently they have made significant financial contributions so we can provide our pupils with the following:
- An independent living space in Niels Chapman at Whitefield School;
- An independent living chalet at Joseph Clarke School;
- A well-being programme for staff across the Trust;
- New sensory equipment at Whitefield School;
- A brand new student-led café at Joseph Clarke School
Each of these programmes and facilities makes a real difference to the learning opportunities of our pupils and the wellbeing of our staff.
The Whitefield Development Trust are looking for people to join their Trust Board as a Trustee. They are also looking for people with the relevant skills to support the board on a voluntary basis as clerk and treasurer. While these roles are unpaid, it can be a really rewarding way of supporting the schools and can provide good experience for someone who wants to keep their skills up to date.
If you are interested in any of these roles, please contact the Chair of the Whitefield Development Trust Board, Eileen Stapleton at eileenstapleton1951@gmail.com.
